White Lake Lodges

Property

White Lake Lodges is nestled on over 2 beautifully landscaped acres on the edge of White Lake. Loon Lodge, Pine Cone Cottage and Moose Lodge are all lakefront. The Bear Paw Cottage (original Ice House), the Fish cabin and the Fern Cabin are all a short walk to the lake.

We plant over 30 flats of flowers each year and have many perennials that grace the property including an herb and vegetable garden. There is a playground area with a jungle gym for the kids and plenty of flat grassy areas to play volleyball, badminton, bocce or one of our many other lawn games.

Adirondack chairs dot the property for a quiet place to read a book or sit in the sun. We also have a large fire pit for roasting marshmallows and singing camp fire songs in the evening. Lots of seating and fired wood is provided.

White Lake is a private, spring fed lake in the Adirondack Park. The lake has six miles of shoreline and is three miles from tip to tip. The lake is crystal clear and can be up to 150' deep in some sections. There are three bays on the lake (Purgatory, Outlet and Dominic) where you can fish, swim or relax.

Since 1981, the lake is stocked yearly with three types of fish on a rotating basis: rainbow, lake trout, and small mouth bass. You will also find Walleye in the lake. Each year the lake association funds 600-1000 fish to be placed in the water. One of the entry points for the fish is to the left of White Lake Lodges. This almost always guarantees good fishing from our docks.

The lakefront has over 200 feet of shoreline and offers three docks and a sandy beach. We also offer 5 kayaks and 2 canoes that are complimentary during your stay. You can also bring your boat from home or rent one from a local marina (see our Area Attractions page for suggestions). Complimentary dockage is always available.

The resort style beach is rock free with soft sand and gradually inclines into the water. Start at your tippy toes and swim out to a depth of 6 feet at the end of the roped off area. We also keep a well stocked supply of beach toys and all of the tools you need to build a great sand castle!

Adirondack chairs complete the waterfront area for sun bathing or listening to the White Lake Loons sing.
